After a long awaited reservation for this place. I finally got to go a couple weeks ago. That's right, our reservations were made in February and they had no opening on a Friday night until April 25th! Well damn! This place has to be great right?!...Almost...
What hasn't already been said about the service? The service is superb. Someone came to fold our napkins anytime me or my friend got up from our seats. They changed utensils and plates after each dish and my water was never near empty. I'm surprised they didn't have someone cutting my food for me and feeding it to me. (That's something I could get use to)
Ok so on to our dishes: Everything was good, but I was slightly disappointed because I've had better. The creme brulee tasted much like the one I can get for under $10 at elephant bar. Also, with me being tuna tartare's #1 fan it just wasn't up to par. Don't get me wrong the dinner was still good, it just wasn't mind-blowing. Perhaps my expectations were just too high with all the fuss people make about this place.
