For a comforting, home-cooked, Beijing-flavored meal, our newly opened restaurant at Wenhuiyuan is ideal. Our chef/owner Lao Zhou opened the first Bailingqiao Private Kitchen in 1992, specializing in serving traditional Beijing cuisine in a homemade style. Using secret recipe passed down in the family, Lao Zhou and his wife have soon established the reputation of excellent and original home-style cooking. The food is so outstanding that even some famous actors, conductors and artists have become our customers. As a decent local restaurant, our emphasis is not only on the well-thought-out Chinese dishes but also on a feeling at home. This is the fifth restaurant opened by Lao Zhou. Well worth a visit.
